On Tuesday, the Borough released a statement on Mayor Neal Rochford’s return to governance which read: “We are happy to announce that Mayor Neal Rochford has returned from his medical leave of absence, although on a reduced level. He was diagnosed with a form of pneumonia, for which he is required to use oxygen, and will require a less active work load until he fully recovers. Thank you for your continued consideration in this matter.”

The Board of Commissioners had publicly announced Rochford’s leave due to ill health at its Feb. 12 meeting.
