Obituary: Mollie Hartman Reynolds

Longtime resident of Haddonfield passed away on Feb. 5

Mollie Hartman Reynolds, a longtime Haddonfield resident, passed away peacefully on Feb. 5 at the age of 75, surrounded by loving family and caregivers at The Evergreens in Moorestown. She was the beloved wife for 57 years of William W. Reynolds, Jr.

Mollie was the daughter of Alvin H. and Margery M. Hartman of Wellesley, Mass, she was the mother of William W., III (Rena), of Ft. Myers, Fla,, James M. (Joy) of Collingswood, N.J., and Rebecca B. Reynolds of Highland Park, N.J. She was also the beloved sister of Robin (Beverly) and the late Peter Hartman of Wellesley, Mass. She was the proud grandmother of Isaac, Henry, Graham and Emilia.

A graduate of Briarcliff College, Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. and Katherine Gibbs School in Boston, she worked as an administrative assistant, taking time off to raise her children then resuming work as a teacher at the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield Preschool. She was also active as a volunteer at Bancroft and Interfaith Caregivers, and she was a member of Haddonfield United Methodist Church.
