Police reminding residents to lock cars

After a string of burglaries, the Mantua Police is asking for residents to take caution with their vehicles.

On Tuesday, February 5th, officers took numerous reports for vehicle burglaries that had occurred during the overnight hours.

In most, if not all, of these instances, the vehicles were left unlocked allowing the suspects to gain easy access to the contents of the vehicle. We ask every resident to please lock all doors at night to help deter this behavior.

If you have any information that could be of assistance, such as surveillance camera footage, please contact our detective bureau at (856) 468–1920.
