Jewish Federation hosting events for Disability Awareness, Acceptance and Inclusion Month

The month of events will kick off next week with a Meet the Artists event for the ACHaD Art Gallery exhibit.

The Jewish Federation family is coming together for the month of February to support those with special needs, and to celebrate inclusion for Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance & Inclusion Month. This year’s JDAIM events are sponsored by the Jewish Abilities Alliance, Aleph Home Care, the Katz JCC, and Jewish Family & Children’s Service.

The Appel Art Gallery Exhibit will be open through the months of January and February, featuring artwork by members of the Katz JCC Achieving Community Hopes and Dreams (ACHaD) program and the JFCS Special Needs Programs. A special Meet the Artists event will be hosted on Wednesday, Feb. 6, where light refreshments will be served.
