The Haddon Fortnightly announces blanket workshop

Members and public at large welcome to craft warm, colorful coverings for abused and neglected children in New Jersey

The Evening Membership Department of The Haddon Fortnightly will be holding a workshop to create colorful fleece blankets to donate to CASA. The workshop will take place on Monday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m. at The Haddon Fortnightly Clubhouse, 301 Kings Highway East.

Court Appointed Special Advocates of New Jersey is a program that advocates for abused and neglected children to make sure they don’t get lost in an overburdened legal and social service system.

Statewide, CASA has provided advocacy for more than 3,800 foster children. If interested in participating, please contact Debbe at (856) 428–0053.

If attending, please bring one-and-one-half yards of fleece fabric in a cheerful pattern and a second one-and-one-half yards of a coordinating fleece fabric, a pair of scissors, a ruler and straight pins.
