OLGC raising money through “Baby Bottle Drive”

The proceeds will benefit Options For Women in Cherry Hill.

Historically more than 40 churches of all denominations all over the immediate area have supported the “Baby Bottle Drive.” In addition, many other assorted organizations are committed to this project, and in recent years Moorestown Knights of Columbus has been one of them.

The Baby Bottle Drive has begun Our Lady of Good Counsel. The drive started on Sunday, Jan. 13 and will lasts for approximately three weeks thereafter, based on the generosity of church members taking a baby bottle home and over three weeks filling it with their loose change before returning it to church. The proceeds will benefit Options For Women in Cherry Hill.

If a woman approaches Virtua Health System seeking a pregnancy examination but doesn’t have insurance, Virtua will refer her to Options For Women where she will get an ultrasound exam, pre-natal vitamins at no cost to the patient. Options will support the patient throughout, and at the birth will provide baby clothing and food, all made available through the generosity of thousands of families in surrounding communities.

All this support, financial and material, and hours of volunteering, has contributed to helping Options guide thousands of women through their pregnancies for the last 30 years.
