Clearview, Harrison accepting hoagie orders for multi-district fundraiser

Press release from Clearview Regional High School.

The 2019 Hoagies 4 Hope (H4H) Super Bowl Hoagie Fundraiser will help four local children and families with life-threatening medical conditions and financial issues. Clearview Regional High School’s middle school and high school student councils will sponsor the event, scheduled for Feb. 3rd, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Over 400 volunteers will help make over 2,000 hoagies, with all proceeds going directly to the Hoagies 4 Hope recipients. Since its inception in 2015, Hoagies 4 Hope has raised over $65,000 to help students in our sending districts.

This year, Hoagies 4 Hope will again partner with the Mullica Hill-based “Lake Gilman Charity Polar Plunge,” which also raises money for students and families in the district. The Polar Plunge is scheduled for February 23rd at 1pm. The Amanto and Diehl families will be hosting this worthy event, which is going on its 6th year of helping those in need.

Hoagies can be ordered through any local school (Mantua, Harrison or Clearview schools) and will be distributed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Clearview High School Athletics entrance. Your support will make a big difference in helping local families!

Orders for hoagies are due to any of the districts by Jan. 24.

The Pioneer will be at the local elementary schools this month for pep rallies and event coordinators are welcoming sponsors.

For more information, or to be a sponsor, contact Paul Sommers, Student Council Advisor, at (856) 522–9340 or [email protected].
