What’s open and closed in Cherry Hill on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

Many businesses will operate on a shortened schedule on both days.

Many offices are closed and places of business will close early as the calendar flips over to 2019 at midnight on Tuesday. Find out what’s open and closed around Cherry Hill.

Post offices: There will be normal mail delivery on Monday, however, post offices will be closed Tuesday and there is no mail on New Year’s Day.

Township offices: Township offices will close at 2 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and will remain closed on New Year’s Day. Trash and recycling scheduled for pickup on Tuesday will instead be collected Wednesday.

Cherry Hill Public Library: The library will close at 5 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and will remain closed on New Year’s Day.

Cherry Hill Public Schools: Monday and Tuesday are the final days of winter break for Cherry Hill Public Schools. School will re-open on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

Katz JCC: The Katz JCC health and wellness facilities will close at 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. For New Year’s Day, health and wellness will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the Imaginarium open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. JCC offices and other programming are closed.

Banks: Nearly all area banks, including Bank of America, PNC Bank, Wells Fargo Bank and TD Bank, are closed for New Year’s Day. Contact your local bank for more information and for modified New Year’s Eve hours.

Cherry Hill Mall: The mall will close early on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The mall will close at 6 p.m. on Monday and 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
