Volunteers needed to help sew pajamas for local kids in need at Mt. Laurel Library on Jan. 5

Locals can join Project Pajama Buddiezz that day from 2 to 4 p.m.

Locals are invited to join “Project Pajama Buddiezz” at the Mt. Laurel Library on Saturday, Jan. 5 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Huma Khan, along her four children — Iman, Amaal, Zaara and Zayb Khan, will sew pajamas for kids ages 5 to 14 to be donated to local organizations and families in need.

All the materials needed will be provided at this event.

For those interested in helping, they can bring their own sewing machine or use one of the library’s four machines.

The event also needs volunteers to cut the fabric using the templates, sew pajamas, pack them nicely and plenty more.

Those at the event will also be making cards with uplifting notes to be packed with pajamas as well.

Those with questions can contact Huma Khan through email at ProjectPajamaBuddiezz@yahoo.com.

This event is being held in partnership with non-profit organization “Live Civilly.” Supporters are also asked to make a donation for this cause and specify “Project Pajama Buddiezz” at www.livecivilly.org.
