On Nov. 27 at 5:12 p.m., patrols responded to Target, located at 4 Centerton Road, for a shoplifting complaint. Loss prevention employees reported a 32-year-old female from Marlton was detained after attempting to shoplift $659.51 worth of store merchandise. The female was taken into custody. She was processed and charged on a summons with shoplifting. She was released pending a future court date.

On Nov. 25 at 11:45 p.m., patrols conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 in the area of the New Jersey Turnpike for motor vehicle violations. During the investigation, it was determined the 24-year-old male driver from Sicklerville was in possession of drug paraphernalia and hypodermic syringes. He was subsequently arrested and charged on a summons with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic syringes. He was released on a summons pending a future court date.

On Nov. 24 at 4:01 p.m., patrols responded to Target, located at 4 Centerton Road, for a report of a shoplifting in progress. Loss prevention employees reported a male, later identified as a 58-year-old male from Clementon, shoplifted a Dyson vacuum cleaner. The male left the area in a silver colored sedan that was located and stopped by patrol officers responding to the call. The male was positively identified and arrested for the shoplifting. He was charged on a warrant with shoplifting and committed to the Burlington County Jail pending a future court hearing. A 30-year-old male passenger in the vehicle from Sicklerville was also arrested for multiple warrants out of Evesham Township Municipal Court. He was released and given a new court date to appear. A second passenger in the vehicle, a 34-year-old male from Voorhees was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle. He was subsequently arrested and charged on a summons with possession of a hypodermic needle. He was processed and released pending a future court date.

On Nov. 24 at 9:24 a.m., patrols responded to Target, located at 4 Centerton Road, for a shoplifting complaint. Loss prevention employees reported that a 50-year-old female from Mantua attempted to shoplift 12 cases of energy drinks. The female was subsequently arrested and charged on a warrant with shoplifting. She was committed to the Burlington County Jail pending a future court hearing.

On Nov. 23 at 2:46 a.m., patrols responded to CVS, located at 3110 Route 38, for a threats report. An employee reported that after declining to fill a customer’s prescription due to insurance issues, the customer threatened to harm him. The 41-year-old male was located in Lumberton, at which time he denied making any threatening comments. The store employee declined to sign complaints at this time.

On Nov. 22 at 6:22 p.m., patrols responded to the Hyatt House, 3000 Crawford Place, for a report of a dispute. During the investigation, a 30-year-old male from Willingboro lied about his name in an attempt to avoid an outstanding warrant being detected. The proper information was obtained and the male was subsequently arrested. He was processed and charged on a summons with hindering apprehension. He was turned over to the State Police for his outstanding warrants.

On Nov. 22 at 5:43 p.m., patrols responded to the Knights Inn, located 1104 Route 73, for a report of a guest who overdosed and was unresponsive. Mt. Laurel Police, EMS and Paramedics responded and administered Narcan. The 46-year-old male from Delran became responsive and was taken to an area hospital for further treatment. Heroin was found in the area of the male.

On Nov. 22 at 12:17 p.m., patrols responded to Lifetime Fitness, located at 3939 Church Road, for a theft complaint. The victim reported that he checked into the gym at approximately 11:23 a.m. and hung his jacket on a coat rack in the men’s locker room. When he returned to retrieve the jacket about 30 minutes later, it was gone.

On Nov. 21 at 12:23 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on the 600 block of Saratoga Drive for a report of a vehicle that was ransacked. The victim reported that sometime overnight, an unknown individual entered her unlocked vehicle. No items were reported stolen.

On Nov. 20 at 9:52 p.m., patrols responded to the Knights Inn, located 1104 Route 73, for a report of a guest who overdosed and was unresponsive. Mt. Laurel Police, EMS and Paramedics responded and administered Narcan. The 25-year-old female from Palm Bay, Fla. became responsive and was taken to an area hospital for further treatment. Heroin was found in the area of the female.

On Nov. 20, 2018 at 4:07 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on Oregon Avenue for a criminal trespass complaint. The victim reports that his video surveillance showed an individual enter his unlocked vehicle at 2:12 a.m. No items were reported stolen.

On Nov. 20 at 8:44 a.m., patrols responded to a residence on Oregon Ave for a report of a theft. The victim reported that sometime overnight an unknown individual entered his unlocked vehicle and stole cash and other personal property.

On Nov. 19 at 11:02 a.m., patrols responded to a car dealership on the 1200 block of Route 73 for a theft complaint. Employees reported that sometime overnight, an unknown individual(s) stole four wheels and tires off a vehicle parked in their lot.

On Nov. 18 at 3:56 p.m., patrols responded to the Extended Stay Hotel, located at 101 Diemer Drive, for a report of a guest who overdosed and was unresponsive. Mt. Laurel Police, EMS and Paramedics responded and administered Narcan. The 26-year-old male became responsive and was taken to an area hospital for further treatment. Heroin was found in the area of the male.

On Nov. 18 at 1:10 p.m., patrols responded to the Econolodge Motel, located at 611 Fellowship Road, for a report of a disorderly male in the lobby. The investigation determined that a 23-year-old male from Waycross, Ga. became enraged after a friend left him at the motel. The individual began breaking motel property in the lobby. The male paid the motel for the damaged property and they declined to sign criminal complaints.

On Nov. 17 at 1 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on the 100 block of Preakness Drive for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. The victim reported that sometime overnight, an unknown individual entered and ransacked his unlocked vehicle. A pack of gum was the only item reported to be missing.

On Nov. 17 at 12:24 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on Lancelot Lane for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. The victim reported that sometime overnight, an unknown individual entered her unlocked vehicle parked in her driveway and stole her purse and wallet.

On Nov. 17 at 10:56 a.m., patrols responded to a residence on the 400 block of Timberline Drive for a theft report. The victim reported that sometime between 11 p.m. on Nov. 16 and 4 a.m. on Nov. 17, an unknown individual entered his unlocked toolbox on his truck and stole tools.

On Nov. 17 at 3:09 a.m., patrols responded to the Aloft Hotel for a prostitution complaint. During the investigation, it was determined a 36-year-old female from Brooklyn, N.Y., who was accused of soliciting for prostitution, had outstanding warrants out of Egg Harbor Township. She was subsequently arrested for the warrants and later released pending a future court date. A 36-year-old male companion provided officers with false information to avoid being detected as a wanted person. He was subsequently arrested and charged on a summons with hindering his own apprehension. He was committed to the Burlington County Jail for his outstanding warrants.

On Nov. 16 at 8:01 p.m., patrols responded to Walmart, located at 934 Route 73, for a shoplifting report. The investigation led to the arrest of a 50-year-old male from Cherry Hill who was observed by store loss prevention putting items in a shopping cart and attempting to leave the store without paying. He was charged on a summons with shoplifting and released pending a future court date.

On Nov. 16 at 3:50 p.m., patrols responded to a hotel on the 500 block of Fellowship Road for a fraud report. Hotel staff reports they were contacted by a fraud victim, who reported between Aug. 10 to Aug. 14, an unknown individual used a fraudulent credit card for payment at the hotel in the amount of $1,401.95.

On Nov, 16 at 1:47 p.m., patrols responded to the Walmart, located at 934 Route 73, for a shoplifting report. Loss prevention employees reported a male used a side emergency exit to exit the store with shoplifted store merchandise. The male was picked up by a female who waited in the parking lot. The vehicle fled the area towards Fellowship Road.

On Nov. 15 at 10:17 a.m., patrols responded to a motel on the 1100 block of Route 73 for a theft complaint. The victim reported that she advised hotel staff on Nov. 14 that she would be checking out the morning of Nov. 15. She left her belongings in the room prior to leaving the property for the day. When she went to retrieve her items, she learned hotel staff had already cleaned the belongings out of the room due to a miscommunication. The motel staff returned her belongings to her, at which time she determined several of her items were missing.

On Nov. 15 at 9:51 a.m., patrols responded to a residence on the 300 block of Hartford Road for a burglary. The victim reported he owns a property that is currently unoccupied. When checking the house on this date, he observed the rear door was forced open. Copper piping was cut from the heating unit.

On Nov. 14 at 3:33 p.m., patrols responded to a gas station on the 700 block of Centerton Road for a theft complaint. The gas station attendant reported that a male requested that he fill his gas tank. After pumping $34.94 of fuel, the individual gave him $20 and drove off.

On Nov. 14 at 3:03 p.m., patrols responded to ShopRite at 127 Ark Road for a report of a shoplifting. The investigation led to the arrest of a 35-year-old female from Delran who attempted to shoplift $129 worth of store merchandise. She was charged on a summons with shoplifting and released pending a future court date.

On Nov. 13 at 1 p.m., a resident from East Oleander Drive came into police headquarters to file a theft complaint. The victim reported he contracted a moving company out of Glassboro to assist with moving personal belongings out of his residence. He instructed the movers not to enter a specific room in the residence, as all of the property was not yet packed. The movers were at the residence from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. At approximately 1, p.m., the resident noticed that an engagement and wedding ring were missing. The rings were last seen in the room the movers were instructed not to enter.

On Nov. 12 at 3:26 p.m., patrols responded to Wegmans, located at 2 Centerton Road, for a report of a shoplifting. Loss prevention employees reported that a 48-year-old female from Moorestown shoplifted store merchandise and attempted to leave the store. The female was charged on a summons with shoplifting and released pending a future court date.

On Nov. 12 at 12:26 p.m., patrols responded to the area of Briggs Road and Dearborn Circle for a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, it was determined thata 20-year-old male driver from Marlton was under the influence of drugs. He was also in possession of marijuana and cocaine. He was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI and other motor vehicle violations, possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine. He was released on a summons pending a future court date.

On Nov. 12 at 2:41 a.m., patrols conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 in the area of Fellowship Road for motor vehicle violations. During the investigation, a marijuana grinder was observed in plain view. A quantity of marijuana was also located in the vehicle. A 25-year-old male driver from Marietta, Ga. was arrested. He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons pending a future court date.

On Nov. 11 at 6:01 p.m., patrols responded to the AT&T Store at 1400 Nixon Drive for a reported shoplifting. Store staff reported that two males entered the store. As one male acted as a look out, the other male walked out with four electronic speakers. The males fled the area in a maroon, Dodge Ram 1500. The vehicle was located on Nixon Drive but fled onto Route 73 when officers attempted to stop the vehicle.

On Nov. 11 at 12:02 p.m., patrols conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 38 in the area of Larchmont Boulevard for motor vehicle violations. During the investigation, it was determined a 33-year-old male driver from Mt. Laurel was in possession of marijuana. He was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. He was released on a summons pending a future court date.

On Nov. 10 at 1:29 p.m., patrols responded to Home Depot at 1200 Nixon Drive for the report of a shoplifting. Loss prevention employees reported that an unidentified male concealed merchandise in his jacket and attempted to leave the store. When confronted by store security, the male returned the merchandise and fled the store.

On Nov. 10 at 12:17 a.m., patrols conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 for motor vehicle violations. During the investigation, it was determined that a 26-year-old male driver from Marlton was under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently arrested and charged on a summons with DWI and other motor vehicle violations. He was released pending a future court date.

On Nov. 9 at 2 p.m., patrols responded to Rowan College for a report of a criminal mischief and theft. Employees reported that sometime between Nov. 5 at 3:36 p.m. and Nov. 6 at 7:06 a.m., an unknown individual drilled a hole in the gas tank of one of the college vehicles and stole gas.

On Nov. 9 at 11:12 a.m., patrols responded to Lifetime Fitness at 3939 Church Road for a theft report. The victim reported that he left his winter jacket unattended in the locker room at approximately 9:30 a.m. When he returned to the locker room at 11:15 a.m. to retrieve the jacket it was gone.

On Nov. 8 at 5 p.m., patrols responded to the Wawa at 720 South Church St. for a theft report. During the investigation, it was determined that an 18-year-old female employee from Mt Laurel stole money from the store during cashier transactions.

On Nov. 8 at 2:41 p.m., patrols responded to a business on Federal Street for a report of a theft and damage to the business. The business owner reported that sometime overnight, an unknown individual stole an air conditioner condenser and also cut and stole copper piping. Propane tanks that were hooked up to the piping were also damaged.

On Nov. 8 at 2:05 a.m., patrols conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 for motor vehicle violations. During the investigation, it was determined that a 20-year-old male driver, currently residing in Mt Laurel, provided a false date of birth to avoid being arrested for a warrant. The male was subsequently arrested and charged with hindering apprehension by providing false information. He was released on a summons pending a future court date.

On Nov. 7 at 12:53 p.m., patrols responded to Panera Bread at 48 Centerton Road for a theft complaint. The victim reported that between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., an unknown individual stole her wallet while she was dining at the restaurant. At 12:18 p.m., one of her credit cards was used for an $800 purchase at Target. The individual was observed on store surveillance and is described as a female approximately 5’8 wearing purple scrubs and a gray hat.

On Nov. 5 at 3:05 p.m., patrols responded to LA Fitness at 4300 Dearborn Circle for a report of a fight in progress. The victim reported that several males assaulted him after a verbal dispute. The victim stated that he was, “sucker punched” and when he defended himself, four other males attacked him. The males fled the scene prior to police arrival.

On Nov. 4 at 6:32 p.m., patrols responded to LA Fitness at 4300 Dearborn Circle for a theft. The victim reports that between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., an unknown individual broke the combination lock off of his gym locker and stole credit cards out of his wallet. The credit cards were then used at CVS to purchase $800 in gift cards.

On Nov. 2 at 7:07 p.m., patrols responded to Walmart, located at 934 Route 73, for a theft report. The victim reported that after shopping at the Walmart, she went to her vehicle and loaded her shopping bags into her vehicle. She believes that she accidentally left her wallet and a grocery bag in the cart when she left the parking lot. When she returned the grocery bags and wallet were gone.

On Nov. 2 at 6:13 p.m., patrols responded to the area of the 1000 block of Larchmont Place for an attempted robbery report. The victim reported that he was in the area of Larchmont Place to meet with a female that he recently spoke to through social media. As he approached the door to the residence where he was supposedly going to meet the female, he was confronted by two masked men who brandished firearms and told him that if he moved they would kill him. The victim jumped from a second story balcony and attempted to flee the scene as the individuals chased him. Upon police arrival, the victim was able to point out the individuals’ vehicle, which was still in the area. The two male occupants of the vehicle were identified as the individuals and were arrested. A 28-year-old male arrestee from Trenton was charged with attempted robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose. A 24-year-old male arrestee from Trenton was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. Each were lodged in the Burlington County Jail pending a future court date.

On Nov. 2 at 4:48 p.m., patrols responded to Shop Rite at 1000 Nixon Drive for the report of a shoplifter. The investigation revealed that two females concealed merchandise and attempted to leave the store without paying. Each were arrested. The 37-year-old female arrestee from Mt. Laurel was charged with shoplifting. The 25-year-old female arrestee from Bohemia, N.Y. was charged with shoplifting and being a fugitive from justice, out of New York. Each were lodged at the Burlington County Jail pending a future court date.

On Nov. 2 at 3:20 a.m., patrols and EMS responded to a residence on the 500 block of Oswego Court for the report of a 39-year-old male fall victim. The male resident advised officers that he consumed alcohol, heroin and cocaine, which caused him to fall. He was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.

On Nov. 1 at 2:40 p.m., patrols conducted a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot of 603 Fellowship Road for motor vehicle violations. During the investigation, it was determined a 32-year-old female driver from Maple Shade was in possession of drug paraphernalia and hypodermic syringes. She was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic syringes. She was released on a summons pending a future court date.
