G Boys Christmas Animation Wonderland tradition continues at new home in Cherry Hill

A South Jersey holiday staple is thriving at a new home. The locally famous G Boys Christmas Animation Wonderland is in its third year at McNaughton’s Garden Center in Cherry Hill. The wonderland took up shop at McNaughton’s in 2016, four years after G Boys Garden and Christmas Center closed in Marlton in 2012. Ralph Gaudio still plays a central part in designing the holiday walkthrough and greets customers at the entrance each day it is open.

Upcoming bond referendum fresh on minds of many at Cherry Hill Township Council

The topic of the Cherry Hill Public Schools bond referendum came to the forefront of the Cherry Hill Township Council meeting last Monday. Superintendent Joe Meloche spoke about the referendum at the meeting and discussed the three questions that will be on the ballot during the special Dec. 11 election. A number of community members then shared their thoughts on the election with council.

Cherry Hill East student discusses student survey results at BOE meeting

At the final Cherry Hill Board of Education meeting prior to the Dec. 11 school bond referendum, Cherry Hill High School East board representative Julia Langmuir gave the board a glance at what students thought were the most pressing needs. Langmuir said students felt security and infrastructure were the biggest issues at Cherry Hill East and added students were hoping to become more informed in meetings with school officials.

Young actress from Cherry Hill set to make New York stage debut

A young Cherry Hill actress is performing in New York City for the first time in her career this winter. Phoebe Bellagamba, a sixth grade student at Beck Middle School, is performing in the holiday musical, “The Little Dancer,” which premiered on Saturday at Theatre 71 at Blessed Sacrament in New York City. Bellagamba is featured in the ensemble called “The Musical Theater Geek Chorus.”

Charges filed against two women following disturbance at Cherry Hill Wawa

Two Camden women have been hit with additional charges after a video surfaced of an altercation at a Cherry Hill Wawa. Destiny Davis and Diamond Howard were charged with aggravated assault and simple assault, respectively, following the release of a video on social media last week. In the video, Howard was seen spitting at yelling at the victim while Davis shoved the victim to the ground and punched her.
