Advancing Opportunities welcomes community to Dec. 12 event
Local nonprofit Advancing Opportunities invites the community to enjoy some holiday “cheers” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Zed’s Beer, 19 N. Maple Ave., Marlton. The event is “friend”raising the low-key, local way.
The nonprofit welcomes the community to enjoy craft beer and learn about its mission and how it advances the independence of people with all types of disabilities. The New Jersey-based nonprofit has been helping individuals with disabilities live independently for more than 60 years.
Attendees will enjoy a tour of the brewery and, with a $25 donation, a flight or beer on Advancing Opportunities, as well as light appetizers.
