Mt. Laurel Police seek info on man who allegedly shoved employee after shoplifting at ShopRite

Police say the incident took place in the early afternoon on Nov. 11.

The following information is on file with the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department:

On Nov. 11 at 1:44 p.m., patrols from the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department responded to the ShopRite located at 1000 Nixon Drive for a reported shoplifting.

According to police, a loss prevention employee reported that she observed a male allegedly conceal store merchandise and exit the store.

When confronted by loss prevention, police say the male allegedly shoved her and fled the scene on foot towards the Moorestown Mall.

The suspect is described as a male with brown hair and a beard. He was wearing blue jeans a gray hooded sweatshirt and a dark colored jacket.

The MLPD is seeking assistance in identifying the suspect in the surveillance photo pictured above.
