The Wednesday Spotlighters group has been preparing the play since October
Wednesday Spotlighters is a Lounge Theater group for boys and girls ages 6 to 15 who enjoy vocals, choreography, acting and costumes. They have been holding regular rehearsals for the play “Hats” at the Palmyra Community Center since Oct. 3. Their debut performance will be held at the community center on Dec. 5 at 7 p.m.
The shows description on the Community Center Program Board reads “Hats of all shapes and sizes take over the stage when a group of milliners help Hatless Hank find the perfect hat. Join instructor Lynn Lofland (musical director of Palmyra Players) as this 20 minute musical explores all kinds of hats, their uses and the people who wear them. Discover that it’s not the hat that makes a person special, but what’s underneath.”
