Cherry Hill Police searching for suspect charged with attempted murder

Camden resident Brian Walker has been charged with the attempted murder of a 29-year-old Camden woman at the Cherry Hill Towers on Sunday night.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Cherry Hill Police Department are searching for a Camden man who has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting on Sunday night.

Police have charged 53-year-old Brian Walker with attempted murder after responding to reports of a woman being shot at the Cherry Hill Towers on Route 38 on Sunday, Nov. 4 at approximately 11:25 p.m. Upon arriving, police located the victim, a 29-year-old woman from Camden, laying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. The woman is receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. Police are not releasing any more details on her condition.

Walker has not yet been arrested. He may be driving a 2005 grey-colored Dodge Magnum with New Jersey license plate ZUA-48V, belonging to the victim. He is considered armed and dangerous and members of the public should not approach him. Anyone who sees Walker should immediately call 9–1–1.
