When Democrats want to talk healthcare, it’s 2/3 of their TV commercials, it’s always important to remember the lies they told to get Obamacare passed. President Obama and all the Democrats knew that you wouldn’t be able to keep your plan or your doctors and instead of “bending the cost curve down”, your premiums went up to pay for other people. Instead of every family getting a “$2500 a year reduction” they faced higher and higher compounding annual premiums each year.
After changes made by Republicans this is the first year since Obamacare began that healthcare premiums went down. Granted it’s a small decrease, but after 7 years of increases, it’s welcomed.
Speaking of false Democrat claims, the Republican healthcare reform legislation did not deny coverage for pre-existing conditions. How can I say that? Because it was explicitly written into the law. Please see above regarding who has been truthful with voters.
Worst than Democrats lying abut healthcare it’s them telling the truth! Namely, “Medicare for All” that should frighten everyone. First off that means they are going to take away Medicare from those already retired and near retired. Face it, if the program is in financial trouble today, then how will putting everyone else on it help its solvency? The cost estimates are $32 trillion over 10 years, yes “t” for trillion.
Even worse, we already know what that system will look like and how it works, it’s called the single payer Veteran’s healthcare system. You know the one with long lines, little service, little accountability and no place else to go, all while people died waiting in line for treatments.
Tell me has the Democrat Party ever apologized for lying to the American people about Obamacare? No, then why should anyone believe them now?
