Inspira Health Network celebrated the completion of its brand-new Innovation Center in Mullica Hill on Oct. 23. Located in the South Jersey Technology Park on Rowan University’s West Campus, the center is designed to accelerate the development and implementation of leading edge, patient-focused products and technologies.

The Innovation Center is a fully-functional patient room modeled after Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill’s future design. It also features a “living room” area similar to what would be found in a patient’s home. It can be used to plan a patient’s transition from an Inspira acute facility to their home. These spaces allow Inspira to design “proofs of concept,” testing technology and models that allow the health network to advance care delivery for its communities. With the use of a life-like interactive mannequin, these advances can be applied and tested directly in a clinical environment, within the Innovation Center.

Spanning approximately 2,500 square feet, Inspira’s Innovation Center features an open format design, with floor-to-ceiling glass partitions separating six collaboration rooms for brainstorming. A generous donation from the Inspira Auxiliary Gloucester County supported the Innovation Center project.
