MHS presents CLUE as fall play

Performances will take place in the Moorestown High School auditorium on Thursday, Nov. 1, Friday, Nov. 2 and Saturday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m

Based on the popular Hasbro board game and adapted from the cult classic film from Paramount Pictures, CLUE is the comedy whodunit that will keep you guessing (and laughing) to the very end.

On a dark and stormy night in 1954, Wadsworth the butler (Alex Zambrano) and Yvette the maid (Alexandra Wilson) welcome six unique guests to a New England mansion. Colonel Mustard (Sam Elder), Mrs. White (Carlie MacMillan), Mrs. Peacock (Tierney Lee Howard), Mr. Green (Griffin O’Neill), Professor Plum (Ashrit Verma) and Miss Scarlet (Skylar Raye Noyes) each have their own secrets, soon to be exposed by the mysterious owner of the mansion, Mr. Boddy (Nate Wilkie). When the lights go out and someone is killed, it is clear that everyone is a suspect and no one is safe. Soon the guests are running through every room in the mansion trying to find the killer and keep the body count from stacking up.

Potential suspects and victims also include the Cook (Ilana Jacobs), the Motorist (Giovanni Augustino), the Cop (Cali Barton), Young Woman (Mia Zambrano), the Reporter (Olivia Schriber), Agents (Ann Comegno, Natalie Lloyd) and the servants of the mansion (Jacqueline Blizzard, Morgan Harris, Olivia Lorincz, Julia Scott, Emma Witkowski).

More than forty crew members have been working on the set, lighting, costumes, hair & make-up, sound and more. Student leaders include Erin Cramer (stage manager), Lindsey Every-Clayton (assistant stage manager), Leslie Cheng (assistant stage manager) and Julia Levan (wardrobe supervisor).

CLUE is directed by Erica Scanlon Harr with scenic design/construction by Kirsten Sheetz with Chris Miller; costumes/hair & make-up by Katie Keith; lighting design by Dee Dugan with Chris Miller, sound design by Ms. Stephanie Filippo and business management/assistant direction by Mr. Greg Harr.
