Clearview’s National Art Society volunteered at Camden County College

The following comes from Dennis Weaver, advisor of the National Art Society.

On Oct. 20, several members of Clearview Regional High School’s National Art Honor Society volunteered their time at the Camden County Animal Shelter’s annual Pledge-A-Paw event, held at Camden County College.

The Art students provided Face Painting and Pumpkin Painting for attendees of all ages, with donations going directly toward the shelter’s programs, which are based on ending animal homelessness in Camden County through community awareness and responsible ownership.

Organized by senior Lindsay Redfield, the students applied their art skills to this wonderful cause and had fun painting dragons, butterflies and superhero logos on the cheeks of many young people at the event.
