Why are you running?

We want to continue to work together to deliver good government to our friends and neighbors.

Our goal is to maintain the delivery of a consistent level of municipal services to or residents within the constraints of the 2 percent spending and tax levy caps.

There are various areas of focus in meeting this objective, none is more pressing than another.

We have to continue to address our aging infrastructure, including our roads, sewer and water systems.

We have to continue to encourage smart growth with a focus on retail development.

We have to continue to work with the county and neighboring communities in the ongoing effort to address the traffic needs of the community, particularly along the Route 130 and Route 541 corridors.

We have to explore and pursue additional shared services agreements in an effort to deliver cost-efficient services.

Through a partnership with our community volunteers we will continue to provide high quality recreation programs to our residents.

Finally, we will continue to make the community safe and to foster positive relationships among our neighbors through community policing.

Township council Republican candidates Nasir Jones and Stephen P. Riggi did not submit answers to the questions by deadline.
