Radix Elementary Students get first-hand lesson in Ecology

Press release from Radix Elementary School

Special to The Sun: Students at Radix Elementary School taking notes on the plants and animals

Ecologists in Mrs. Goneau and Miss Parks’ second grade class at Radix Elementary School went on a nature walk to observe animals and plants in their natural habitats.

With guidance from their teachers, students were able to watch animals and discuss how many different kinds of plants they were able to find. Making use of the outdoor classroom, groups were able to stop and collect their ideas easily. These Ecologists will go on to learn more about living things in science!
