Environment New Jersey to display electric cars available for test drives
Elected officials from Haddonfield are joining Environment New Jersey Research and Policy Center to hold a “Ride and Drive” event on Monday, Oct. 8 to highlight the benefits of electric vehicles for New Jersey, and oppose federal efforts to rollback clean car standards.
It will take place in the parking lot of Borough Hall, 242 Kings Highway East, at 3:30 p.m.
Expected to appear at the event and to take some of the vehicles on a test drive, are Haddonfield commissioners Jeffrey Kasko and John Moscatelli, along with Doug O’Malley and Raquel Serruya from Environment New Jersey.
Environment New Jersey’s “Ride and Drive” events are an opportunity to showcase a variety of electric cars currently on the market.
These events are meant to educate the public about the untapped potential electric vehicles can offer the Garden State, and how they protect our health, environment, and pocketbook.
