Burlington County Health Department hosting ‘Healthy Halloween Fun Run’ Oct. 27

Officials participants can also learn how to safely use the exercise equipment at the park’s fitness stations.

The Burlington County Health Department is hosting a “Healthy Halloween Fun Run” on Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pennington Park, located at 801 Creek Road in Delanco.

Officials say the event will begin with a 1.5 mile run/walk, during which participants can learn how to safely use the exercise equipment at the park’s fitness stations as they run the trail and collect prizes along the way.

Afterwards, visitors are invited to join for healthy snacks, demonstrations, vendors and activities for adults and kids alike.
