Fall events are plentiful this year with a little something for everyone.

In Cinnaminson fall is synonymous with fun. This year there is something for everyone in the family. Whether you are trying to get an early start on holiday shopping or are looking for something fun for the kids Cinnaminson has you covered.
Fall Festival Market
Temple Sinai is wasting no time getting the fall events started. On Sunday, Oct. 7, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., the temple, located at 2101 New Albany Road, will be hosting its Fall Festival Market. Don’t miss this opportunity for some early holiday shopping.
“We have vendors like Pampered Chef, Dot Dot Smile, LuLaRoe, Initials, inc, Stamping Up, Scentsy, Lemongrass Spa, Perfectly Posh and more. So many things to see,” says organizer Tami Bobrin. There will also be vendors selling handcrafted jams, cards, ornaments, jewelry and gift items.
Be sure to come hungry, as Magical Sweet Shop will be on site selling baked goods. Temple Sinai will also have food available and will be grilling hot dogs and selling pretzels, snacks and beverages throughout the event.
The market will also feature a number of nonprofits like Angels for Animals, which will be collecting pet supplies to support the pets in its care. Relay for Life of Cinnaminson will be selling items to support the American Cancer Society, and American Heart Association will sell bracelets for $2 each.

Cinnaminson Appreciation Day
Mayor Donald Brauckmann is excited for the annual Cinnaminson Appreciation Day celebration on Oct. 7 in Wood Park at the corner of Pamona and Riverton Rd. from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.
“Cinnaminson Day is my favorite township event because it is 100 percent about Cinnaminson Township and all we have to offer,” said Brauckmann.
The event highlights the township’s services, including police, fire and public works as well as sports programs, public and private schools and school-based programs, civic organizations, local businesses and restaurants.
Cinnaminson Day typically represents around 100 participants, including more than 10 food vendors for hungry visitors. Local dance groups like the Burlington County Footlighters will also be performing throughout the day.
This year will feature an expanded children’s play area as well as activities organized by the police, fire, and public works departments. Brauckmann assures parents that young ones will have plenty to do.

Project Graduation Events
Cinnaminson Project Graduation began in 1993 and is financed mostly through fundraising events year round. This fall, it is hosting three events: a car show, handbag bingo and a trunk or treat for Halloween.
“The money raised from these events goes toward providing a safe, drug- and alcohol-free party for all graduating seniors on graduation night,” said Lisa Bishop, a member of the Cinnaminson Project Graduation committee. “In the past, the parties have included games, a DJ, a magician, food and beverages, prizes and many more activities all night long.”
Car Show
The 5th Annual Car Show is part of Cinnaminson Appreciation Day on Sunday Oct. 7 in Wood Park. The show is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be trophies for the top 75 vehicles and awards for best engine, best interior, best paint, best of show and for club participation. Pre-show registration is $15 per vehicle and $20 on the day of the show. All proceeds will benefit Cinnaminson High School Project Graduation.
Bishop expects at least 125 vehicles at this show. Food and beverages will be also be available. If you have a car you’d like to show off, register at cinnaminsoncarshows.org.
Designer Handbag Bingo and Dinner
The Designer Handbag Bingo and Dinner will take place on Friday, Oct. 26, in the Cinnaminson High School cafeteria from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. This event is for adults 18 and older. Bingo is $40 per person and includes a dinner catered by Georgetti’s, coffee and dessert, a bingo book for 12 games and a door prize ticket. They will also have a tombola table and a 50/50. There is an early bird special offered: register and pay before Oct. 5 and receive a free additional bingo book. Pre-sale tombola tickets and pre-sale extra bingo books are available now through Oct. 5 at a discount.

Trunk or Treat
The second annual Cinnaminson Trunk or Treat will be Saturday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. This event is for children ages 12 and younger accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children can give their Halloween costumes a trial run and trick-or-treat from car to car in the Cinnaminson High School parking lot.
“This event is not meant to take the place of trick-or-treating on Halloween. It gives children and parents a great place to do so safely,” said Bishop.
Last year, the event brought in 800 children and more than 60 vehicles. Bishop is expecting even more children and vehicles this year. Cash prizes will be given for best of show, creepiest, most unusual, best makeup, best theme and funniest. Vehicle registrations are $15 per vehicle, which includes up to four children. Additional children participating in vehicle themes are $5 each.
All candy will be supplied for participating vehicles to give out. Children can make one stop at each vehicle in the lot. Non-food treats will be available for any young trick-or-treaters with food allergies. There will be a DJ and dancing, food concessions and more. Bishop promises “a spooktacular night for all.”

Bridal Showcase at the Merion
If there is a wedding in your near future come to the Merion at 1301 Route 130,
Cinnaminson on Wednesday, Oct. 17, from 7 to 10 p.m. Bridal Showcase is providing a one-stop shopping experience with everything you need for your wedding day and married life.
Admission is free for brides and grooms. Guests are welcome to attend wedding seminars with tips and advice from experts on planning not just for a wedding day but for married life. There will also be DJ and musician showcases, a runway fashion show, and prizes and discounts from every exhibitor.
One winner is chosen at every show for a dinner for four at Maggiano’s and a day of pampering for the wedding couple.

Covenant Fall Craft Show
For fans of handmade crafts, the Covenant Presbyterian Church at 2618 New Albany Road is hosting its third annual Covenant Fall Craft Show Oct. 27. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
They are expecting about 50 vendors to be there selling their wares. This year will also feature a food court, so come hungry. This is a great opportunity for holiday shopping. Among the handmade items that will be for sale visitors can expect jewelry, essential oils, fall and Christmas decorations and ornaments, candles, crocheted items, jams and breads, Tupperware and assorted collectibles.
