Haddonfield YMCA 5K pushed back from original date

Race which has taken place for almost 40 years now set for Nov. 10.

The 37th running of the Haddonfield 5K road race, originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13 will take place on Saturday, Nov. 10. As usual, it is sponsored by the Haddonfield YMCA’s Men’s Club. The certified route runs through the streets of the borough.

The race, which will launch promptly at 9 a.m., starts and finishes at the Crows Woods field house where snacks and water will be available.

Entry fee for this year’s race remains at $25 if received before Nov. 1 and $30 after that date. Long sleeve running shirts will be given to all runners registered prior to Nov. 1, and then on a first come first serve basis. Race packets may be picked up on race day at the Crows Woods ield house beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Awards will be presented at the field house to the top three male and female finishers overall and to each of the following age groups: 14-and-under, 15-to-19, 20-to-29, 30-to-39, 40-to-49, 50-to-59 and 60-and-over.
