The Cove Caterpillars aim to jump start pre-schoolers’ curiosity about the natural world
The Palmyra Cove Nature Park is available to people of all ages, but now there is a special group tailored to pre-schoolers. Cove Caterpillars is a one hour hands-on nature program tailored to children ages 2 to 6.
Each day will begin with an introduction to a nature topic, followed by a walk outdoors where children can get more of a hands-on experience. The hour concludes in the Discovery Center with a post-lesson nature craft they can take home. Each day will explore a new nature-themed topic.
