Sept. 11 ceremony to take place at Cherry Hill Fire Department Central Command

Residents are invited to attend the brief remembrance event beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 11.

Cherry Hill Township and the Cherry Hill Fire Department will host its annual Sept. 11 Remembrance Service next Tuesday, Sept. 11, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The event will be held at the fire department’s Central Command building at 1100 Marlkress Road.

The service will include members of the Cherry Hill Police and Fire departments as well as members of Cherry Hill Township Council and Mayor Chuck Cahn. The ceremony will remember those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

All residents are invited to attend this event. Anyone planning to attend is asked to gather outside the fire department’s 9–11 Memorial just prior to 8:30 a.m.
