Are you happy? Happy to be living in New Jersey? A new survey places the state’s happiness level right around the middle of the pack.

Business website 247wallst.com recently took a look at the Gallup-Sharecare Well-Being Index and paired it with a few other sources to come up with its list of the happiest and most miserable states. New Jersey finished 28th.

The Board of Education swore in newest member at Tuesday’s meeting

At Tuesday night’s Shamong Board of Education meeting, Frank Locantore was introduced and sworn in as the newest member of the board.

There was a vacancy on the board due to the recent passing of long-time board member Michael Tuman. After advertising, the board received one letter of interest to apply for the position — from Locantore.

Lenape Regional High School District BOE recaps the past year at meeting

At this week’s Lenape Regional High School District meeting, the board took the time to reflect on the past school year and the accomplishments that were made throughout Lenape, Shawnee, Cherokee and Seneca high schools.

Assistant Superintendent Matthew Webb lead the year recap, accompanied by a presentation that reviewed the highlights of the 2017–2018 school year, focused around community involvement.
