Knights of Columbus give back to the community

At the monthly meeting, Knights of Columbus presented checks to various organizations.

During the St. Mary of the Lakes Knights of Columbus Council meeting on Aug. 9, Council 6520 presented checks that totaled $42,000 to Medford’s Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Burlington County and 1st Way of Burlington County.

The money was raised at the Knights of Columbus’ 11th annual charity golf tournament at Medford Lakes Country Club that took place in June.

The Knights of Columbus Council 6520 also honored David and Carolyn Karbasian for being named “Family of the Year.”
