Evesham Police promote citizens’ options for requesting information and reporting crimes

Citizens can use a kiosk in the department’s lobby to request information or use the department’s website to report crimes.

The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

In order to make it easier for citizens to obtain the services they need, the Evesham Township Police Department is continuing to promote its custom touch-screen kiosk installed inside the police lobby at the Evesham Municipal Building at 984 Tuckerton Road.

The kiosk is available to citizens 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Police say the goal of the kiosk is to provide yet another tool for the community that allows individual’s easy access to a variety of services the department offers.

According to police, the kiosk will also free up time for those who work in the clerical department, enabling them to help others with service requests or other needs.

Kiosk services include:

  • Requesting a police record (OPRA)
  • Request a vacation check of their home
  • Providing a tip on a crime
  • Completing an online police report
  • Paying a traffic citation
  • Obtaining various common police forms
  • Browsing department social media and pictures

All services offered on the kiosk can also be accessed on the department’s website: www.eveshampd.org.

Citizens can also use the department’s website to report crimes and suspicious activities.

According to police, the purpose of this service is to allow Evesham residents to conveniently file police reports from home, work or anywhere with Internet access.

Police say the online reporting system not only provides a convenient way to report crimes that do not require the presence of an officer, but it also greatly increases police productivity by freeing officers to perform other law enforcement activities.

After completing the necessary information, the reporting party will receive an actual incident number, and they will be able to print the report for their own personal records.

Once a crime is reported, the department will follow up to ensure all information is accurate and answer any questions that the reporting party may have.

To report a crime online, visit the department’s website at www.eveshampd.org and click on the reporting icon at https://lf.evesham-nj.gov/Forms/complaint

Police are also reminding the public that the online reporting website should never be used to report an emergency, a crime in progress or any type of injury.

For emergencies, members of the public can call 911. For any other situation that requires the response of a police officer, members of the public can call (856) 983–1111.
