Kiwanis Club donates more than $5,500 for inclusive playground

The Kiwanis Club of the Haddons raised money for the reconstruction of Wish Upon a Star Playground in Barrington

Kiwanis Club of the Haddons / Special to The Sun: Kiwanis Club of the Haddons presents their $5,500 donation to Barrington’s Wish Upon a Star Playground. The Kiwanis Club of the Haddons raised more than $5,500 for the reconstruction of Barrington’s Wish Upon a Star Playground, according to a news release. Members presented a ceremonial check to local officials during a festive dedication ceremony held July 14. In addition to the financial donation, the Kiwanis Club won a spinner for the playground through a nationwide Legacy of Play contest.

The Wish Upon a Star Playground is the second inclusive playground in Camden County. The playground features separate activity zones for different age groups and all ability levels.
