Shop Washington Township update
I am pleased to announce that Cache Beauty Lounge has joined the Shop Washington Township Program. Cache Beauty Lounge offers many beautification services, as well as relaxing spa treatments. If you would like to learn more about their services, you can visit their website at www.cachespa.us/ or you may visit their location at 267 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. The Shop Washington Township Program is continuing to grow as our economic development consultant has been busy reaching out to Washington Township merchants every week. If you are a business owner in Washington Township and you are interested in joining the Shop Washington Township Program, you may contact our economic development consultant, Nancy Mozzachio at nmozzachio@twp.washington.nj.us or at (856) 589–0520 ext. 261. I am looking forward to seeing our program continue to grow. I would like to thank all of our current participating Shop Washington Township businesses. We appreciate your willingness to offer the residents of Washington Township a rebate on their property taxes.
Coffee with the Mayor
I would like to remind all residents of Washington Township that I am continuing to hold Coffee with the Mayor meetings every third Thursday of the month. The purpose of these meetings is for residents to meet with me in a more personal setting to discuss ways that we can improve Washington Township. If you are interested in meeting with me, you may contact my Administrative Assistant, Alicia Rotella at (856) 589–0575 or at arotella@twp.washington.nj.us. These meetings are by appointment only. You must contact Alicia and send her a maximum of two questions for us to discuss together, the Monday before the meeting.
Economic development summer internship
I am happy to announce our economic development office is looking for enthusiastic and dependable students to fill non-paid summer intern positions. This particular position will need individuals who are willing to volunteer their time and efforts with our economic development consultant and members of the FinCredit representatives who are associated with the Shop Washington Township Program. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn valuable skills for business and communicating with Washington Township businesses. This internship will also be great on college applications or resumes. All applicants must go to the Township website at www.TownshipNJ.com to view the qualifications and fill out an application.
