Mullica Hill Branch Library to host Special Olympics Young Athletes for local children and their parents

Young Athletes Summer 2018 Community Program continues with bi-weekly Saturday events

This Saturday, as well as Aug. 11 and Aug. 25, the Mullica Hill Branch Library is hosting a series of events with Special Olympics Young Athletes and its summer community program.

The free event is targeted for children ages 2 to 7 from 10 to 11 a.m. this Saturday at the Mullica Hill Branch Library. Children must participate and register with a parent or adult guardian.

The inclusive sports and play program introduces basic sports skills to children with and without intellectual disabilities. From running, to kicking and throwing, the program aims to provide the community and families a chance to share sports with all children.

In addition to events at the Mullica Hill Branch Library, events are also held throughout Atlantic, Essex, Gloucester and Middlesex counties.

For more information or to register for the event visit the Mullica Hill Branch Library page of the Gloucester County Library website at www.gcls.org.
