Blackwood man faces multiple charges after law enforcement detect odor of marijuana

At approximately 9:30 p.m., July 12, the Gloucester Township Police Department Operations Response Units (ORU) were conducting patrols in Gloucester Township. During these patrols officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing a traffic violation. The traffic stop was conducted in the area of Timber Creek High School on Arlington Road.
While speaking with the driver, from Blackwood, an officer detected the odor of marijuana. A further investigation led officers to recover more than 1.25 pounds of marijuana and subsequently arrested the driver at the scene.
