ICCA Committee seeks volunteers for Fourth of July Parade

The organization is seeking a variety of volunteer positions, including balloon handlers and banner carriers.

The ICCA Committee is made up of 10 volunteers from Berlin Borough and Berlin Township. The group is inter-community funded and a not-for-profit 501(c)3 volunteer organization that will be celebrating its 71st year by hosting the two-town community parade.

The parade highlights the residents of Berlin Borough, Berlin Township and other neighboring towns along with the organizations, businesses and other institutions that make our community and America.

Since 2015 under the direction of President Bill Adair, the parade continues to get bigger and better year after year. They are currently seeking approximately 95 parade volunteers to help continue to grow the Berlin Fourth of July Parade ICCA Inter Community Celebration Association inc.

There are many opportunities to help before during and after the parade.

They seeking the following volunteers positions:

  • 20 parade line up coordinators (6:30 to 9 a.m.)
  • 30 balloon handlers (9 a.m. until the end of the parade)
  • Six banner carriers (9 a.m. until the end of the parade)
  • 3 or 4 per block 40 people to serve as parade block captains (9 a.m. until the end of the parade)
