Mt. Laurel Police arrest three at motel on Route 73 for outstanding warrants

The following reports are on file with the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department:

On June 6 at 3:51 p.m., Mt. Laurel Police say patrols responded to a motel on the 1100 block of Route 73 to serve a warrant.

According to police, three individuals in the room were found to have outstanding warrants.

Police say there was also allegedly drug paraphernalia and heroin found in the room.

According to police, A 21-year-old male suspect was arrested and charged on a summons with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic syringes. He was released to Vineland Police for his outstanding warrant.

A 37-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Washington Township. She was released pending a future court date.

A 51-year-old male was charged on a summons with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic syringes. He was turned over to Moorestown Police for an outstanding warrant.

On June 12 at 7:46 a.m., patrols responded to a construction site on the 2900 block of Route 38 for a report of a burglary. A contractor reported that sometime between June 8 and June 12 an unknown person forcibly entered a trailer on site and stole construction equipment.

On June 11, 2018 at 9:51 p.m., patrols responded to the 2900 block of Saxony Drive for the report of a suspicious vehicle. Patrols located the vehicle and observed both occupants to be smoking marijuana. Two, 21-year-old males from Mt. Laurel were subsequently arrested and charged on a summons with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were released pending a future court date.

On June 11 at 5:02 p.m., patrols responded to the Walmart on Route 73 for the report of a shoplifting. The store manager reported that an 18-year-old male employee from Delran was observed on video surveillance putting Xbox games in his backpack and leaving the store without paying. The male employee was arrested and charged on a summons with shoplifting.

On June 10 at 2:29 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on Daylily Drive for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. The victim reported that sometime between June 8 at 5 p.m. and June 10 at 2 p.m., an unknown person entered his unlocked vehicle that was parked in his driveway and stole a laptop.

On June 10 at 1:01 p.m., patrols responded to a hotel on the 900 block of Route 73 for a report of a theft from a locker. The victim reports that he secured his personal belongings in a locker. When he returned, his belongings were missing.

On June 10 at 9:22 a.m., patrols responded to a residence on Springville Way for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. The victim/residents reported that sometime overnight an unknown person entered his unlocked vehicle and stole his wallet.

On June 9 at 1:09 p.m., patrols responded to a business on Centerton Road for a report of a counterfeit $100 bill that was passed. Employees reported that a female made a $31.97 purchase in the store and paid using a counterfeit $100 bill. The female was seen leaving the store in a dark colored SUV.

On June 9, 2018 at 11:25 a.m., patrols responded to the Target on Centerton Road for the report of a shoplifter. Store Loss Prevention reports the 45-year-old female from Westampton filled a reusable tote bag with various store merchandise valued at $359 and attempted to leave the store without paying. She was arrested, charged on a summons with shoplifting and released pending a future court date.

On June 9 at 6:11 a.m., patrols responded to a hotel on the 400 block of Century Parkway for the report of an unconscious male. Patrols, Mt. Laurel EMS and Paramedics arrived and found the 26-year-old male from Savannah, Ga. unresponsive from an apparent heroin overdose. Narcan was administered and the male regained consciousness. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

On June 7 at 8:05 p.m., patrols responded to a business on the 3100 block of Route 38 for the report of a theft of a tip jar. The employee reported that a male wearing camouflage pants and a white tank top entered the store and stole a tip jar containing approximately $9 The male was last seen running towards Sedgefield Drive.

On June 7 at 8:58 a.m., patrols responded to two residences on East Coach Lane for reports of theft from motor vehicles. The victim/residents reported that sometime overnight an unknown person entered their unlocked vehicles and stole multiple items.

On June 7 at 8:39 a.m., patrols responded to a residence on the 600 block of Mt. Laurel Road for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. The victim/resident reported that sometime between midnight and 4 a.m. an unknown person entered four unlocked vehicles on her property and stole multiple items.

On June 6 at 7:35 a.m., patrols responded to a residence on the 100 block of Schoolhouse Lane for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. The victim/resident reported that sometime overnight an unknown person entered her unlocked vehicle and stole loose change.

On June 5 at 5:27 p.m., patrols responded to a motel on the 1100 block of Route 73 for a disturbance. Patrols arrived on scene and located a vehicle in the lot that was reportedly involved in the incident. The investigation determined that the 28-year-old male from Pennsville, who was an occupant of the vehicle, was in possession of drug paraphernalia and heroin. He was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons pending a future court date.
