Radix Elementary school teachers and students clean up the campus

The Caring Club of Radix completed their final event of the school year

Special to The Sun: Students, parents, grandparents, staff, and friends of Radix pause from landscaping to take a picture at Radix Elementary school’s landscaping clean-up day.

Radix Elementary School’s co-coordinators of The Caring Club of Radix, principal Dr. Jill DelConte and first grade teacher Donna Sanfilippo, organized the final event of the school year. The event was a Radix “landscaping clean-up”. Members of the club removed weeds, planted and mulched existing landscaping beds and created some new ones too.

The Caring Club of Radix would like to thank SMP Farms, Peach Country Tractor, Inc. and Monroe Township’s Office of Clean Communities whose donations allowed Radix Elementary to be beautifully transformed. A special thanks to David Hinnegan, owner of LanDesigns Landscaping for doing all he could to help. He was instrumental during each phase of the project and because of him the outside of Radix Elementary never looked more beautiful.
