The MettaMind Community is a new group formed by Calvary Presbyterian and Covenant Presbyterian churches
Calvary Presbyterian and Covenant Presbyterian churches have joined efforts to begin a new worshipping community with a focus on mission outreach and spiritual growth in the form of mindfulness.
Many events connected with the group, called the MettaMind Community, will be coming soon. MettaMind will be hosting a music event Saturday, June 30, from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Orange Blossom Cafe in Riverton as a way to introduce the group to the community. Music will be provided by a jazz group, local talent and an open mic opportunity will be available for those in the audience who would like to perform. Refreshments can be purchased from Orange Blossom Cafe, and seating will be available inside and outside.
