Gloucester Township is partnering with Curb My Clutter — a service that enables residents to easily schedule free collection of their unwanted items via text. With just the quick send of a message, residents can have their unwanted items picked up by their doorstep.

Township discusses vaping issue among local youth

After the May marijuana cartridge bust worth more than $113,000 in Gloucester Township, Mayor Dave Mayer, police, school district and others discussed the rising vaping issue across the country. There’s been a 900 percent increase in electronic cigarette usage by high school students from 2011 to 2015, according to 2016 report from the U.S. Surgeon General.Also, a 2016 National Youth Tobacco survey indicated 1.7 million high school students reported they had used electronic cigarettes in the last 30 days.

GTPD completes 2018 Click It or Ticket campaign

In its two week program, the department issued close to 200 summonses during the crackdown. This annual campaign focuses on unbuckled motorist and their passengers, stressing zero-tolerance enforcement of safety belt laws.

Sicklerville man charged with distribution of child pornography

Last week, Patrick Sardoma was arrested at his residence Tuesday afternoon due to alleged distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography. He was arrested without incident and transported to the Winslow Township Police Department. Sardoma was later released with conditions after being remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.
