Motor vehicle accident on Church Road and Eayrestown Road

The accident took place on May 22 at approximately 6:44 p.m.

The following information has been provided by the Medford Township Police Department:

On May 22 at approximately 6:44 p.m., Medford Township Emergency Services were dispatched to the intersection of Church Road and Eayrestown Road for a motor vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2010 Toyota Venza, driven by Blanca Tobar, attempted to make a left turn from West Bound Church Road, on to South Bound Eayrestown Road. Tobar failed to make the turn in time and collided with a 2013 VW Passat CC, driven by Danielle Wilson, which was East Bound on Church Road.

The driver of the Toyota and a front seat passenger were both transported to Virtua in Mt Holly, for minor neck and back injuries, while the rear seat passenger, Fernando Aguilaro, was transported to Cooper Hospital in Camden, for a neck fracture and head laceration.

The driver of the VW and her 2 and a half-year-old son were also transported to Virtua in Mt. Holly for minor arm injuries. The driver of the Toyota, Blanca Tobar, was issued several motor vehicle summons for failure to yield and being an unlicensed driver.
