The parade will occur rain or shine
The United Veterans Council (UVC) of Monroe Township announces that the 2018 Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 28 (rain or shine).
We would like to invite your groups to march in the parade as a show of support to our local veterans and a sign of respect for those who have sacrificed so much in defense of our country and the freedom we enjoy as Americans.
The parade participants will gather at 10:30 a.m. at the Our Lady of Peace Parish parking lot located at Main Street and Carroll Avenue. The parade will commence at approximately 11 a.m. and will travel north on Main Street to Veteran’s Memorial Park where there will be a dedication to our active military, veterans, and our fallen heroes and conclude with a wreath laying ceremony.
