Evelyn C. Perodeau passed away on May 19 at the age of 69.
Evelyn C. Perodeau passed away on May 19 at the age of 69. She was born in Camden. She was the cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was the loving daughter of Evelyn and James Ready; devoted wife of Bob Perodeau; beloved mother of Roxanne & Jacqueline; adoring sister of Sharon (Al) Nutter, Jeanette (Vince) Torno, Kathy (Frank) Lauria, Linda (John) McAdam & Jim (Mary) Ready.
Evelyn supported Interfaith Caregivers and Helping Hands and was an avid gardener. She had a curiosity about the world, which led her to joining the Peace Corps, where she taught on a remote island in Micronesia and met her future husband, Bob. She later worked on transfer of technology programs in Iran and became a sales executive for RR Donnelley and UPS before retiring in 2017. Evelyn was a world traveler and enjoyed meeting people of different cultures, faiths and cuisines. She graduated from Glassboro State and attained an MBA at DePaul University.
Evelyn’s family will be receiving friends Thursday, May 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Kain Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave. Haddonfield, NJ 08033. All are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial, Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent Pallotti Church, 901 Hopkins Road, Haddon Twp., NJ.
