Mt. Laurel Library offers community service hours for kids with ‘Write Stuff’ event on May 22

Kids can earn some community service hours or just do a good deed at the Mt. Laurel Library during its “Write Stuff” event on May 22.

During the event, volunteers can make cards, as well as color and write letters, that will be distributed to children’s hospitals, nursing homes and members of the military. The Mt. Laurel Library will provide all materials.

According to the library, this event is open to teens, as well as kids who may be too young for the library’s regular volunteer positions.

The event is open to participants ages Pre-K through 18. However, parents are asked to stay to assist children in grades four or younger.

No registration is required to attend this event.

Children will receive a letter of participation at the end of the event.

For more information, visit the library’s website at www.mountlaurellibrary.org or email Christine Rambo at crambo@mountlaurellibrary.org.
