May 9

  • Patrols assisted a resident of Crescent Hollow who had locked his keys in his vehicle.
  • Patrols responded to a motor vehicle crash on Glassboro Road in area of Tylers Mill Road. Officers learned that the crash was a result of a driver using their cell phone.
  • Patrols responded to a motor vehicle crash on Center Street in the area of the Post Office. Vehicle was disabled due to a flat tire. Officers changed the tire for the victim and she was able to drive the vehicle home. The other driver was found to have active warrants for their arrest and were arrested and processed.
  • Officers took a harassment complaint that was committed by Facebook.

May 10

  • Officers responded to Centre City for a female that had passed away during the night.
  • Officers responded to a power outage that had affected all the traffic signals on Route 45. Officers stood by and directed traffic until the power could be restored.
  • Officers responded to the Target for a child that was locked in the car along with the keys, accidentally. Officers gained entry and the child was fine.
  • Officers took a fraud report in which the caller was purported to be from the Electric Company and threatened to turn off their power unless they paid money.
  • Officers responded to two crashes that occurred at the same time.

May 11

  • Officers responded to a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at the Royal Oak Apartments. Officers were able to calm both parties.
  • Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for outstanding warrants. She was processed and turned over to the county jail.

May 12

  • Officers responded to a domestic dispute at the Royal Oak Apartments in which a female would not let her boyfriend leave. Officers stood by while the male left.
  • Officers conducted their monthly car seat installation at the Mantua Fire Department that is open and free to the public.
  • Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Cohawkin Road in the area of Cedar Road.
  • Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated juvenile. He was transported to the hospital and his parents were notified and were responding to the hospital as well.
  • Officers responded to a suspicious person and found that she was wanted for active warrants. She was arrested and turned over to the county jail.
  • Ptl. Layton conducted a pedestrian stop on a subject and found they have active warrants for their arrest. She was processed and released.
  • Two subjects were arrested at their residence for outstanding warrants and turned over to the county jail.

May 13

  • A subject was arrested at the Wawa on Route 45 for outstanding warrants and was turned over to the county jail.
  • Patrols responded to a report of a suicidal person that was missing and needed to be located for treatment. After investigation, subject was located and transported to the hospital.
  • Officers supervised community service workers who cleaned up trash and debris in the area of Center Street and Mantua Boulevard.
  • Officers responded to Pinebrook Apartments for a neighbor complaint.
  • Ptl Hauss conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested the occupant for outstanding warrants. They were turned over to the county jail.
  • A Centre City resident was arrested at her residence for outstanding warrants. She posted bail and was released.

May 14

  • Officers responded to a minor crash in the parking lot of the Wawa store on Route 45.
  • Patrols responded to a tractor fire on a farm on Jefferson Road.
  • Officers located a subject laying on the ground on Main Street and stopped to check to see if he was okay. He was fine and also found to have active warrants. He was arrested and turned over to the county jail.

May 15

  • Officers responded to a minor crash in Buckingham Village in which a parked car was struck.
  • Officers located a solicitor in the Centre City development that did not have the proper permit. He stopped operations until the proper paperwork could be obtained.
  • Patrols responded to a serious motor vehicle crash on Lambs Road near Harrison Township in which a vehicle struck a utility pole and rolled onto its side. The occupants were not injured and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

May 16

  • Officers were dispatched for a noise complaint just after midnight for a neighbor that had the music too loud. He agreed to turn the volume down.
  • Officers responded to the Target store for a minor crash in the parking lot.
  • Officers responded to a hit and run crash in the parking lot of Timberline Shopping Center.

May 17

  • Patrols were dispatched to a three vehicle crash on Jackson Road at Heritage Road. Gloucester County EMS treated the injured and all three vehicles needed to be towed.
  • Officers took a criminal mischief complaint for broken windows on an abandoned house.
  • Detective took a report for a sex offense. The investigation is ongoing.
  • Officers assisted a mother who reported that her daughter snuck out of the house and may be at her boyfriend’s house. Officers checked the house and did not locate the daughter, but did learn that she was on her way home.
