Cherokee High School junior named Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Medalist

Cherokee High School officials are offering congratulations to Cherokee junior Palak Jain for being named a Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) Medalist.

According to officials, this scholarship is awarded to promising secondary school juniors who have distinguished themselves in mathematics and science.

Officials say medalists who apply, are accepted and enroll at RPI will receive a $25,000 per year merit scholarship which is guaranteed for four years.
