Washington Township resident inducted into honor society

Turnersville resident Rebecca Keeny was honored as one of 38 students in the state who earned entry onto the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society All-State Academic Team for New Jersey.

Washington Township High School seniors Brandon Hickson and Rebekah Leone honored at scholar-athlete dinner

Hickson and Leone were recognized for their outstanding achievements athletically, academically and in sportsmanship during their four-year careers.

South Jersey Gas is installing new gas mains in Washington Township

Watch out for road work in Washington Township starting May 14. Construction will be done from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Affected areas are: Greentree Road, Wedgewood Drive, Avonbrook Drive, Green Valley Road, Barclay Drive, Woodbrook Road, Lombardy Road, Garfield Avenue, Concord Court, Whitman Drive, Yorktown Road, Canal Street and Preston Court.
