The Haddonfield 65 Club is hosting a full day of activities, on Tuesday, June 19, beginning at 7 a.m. when the bus departs from Haddonfield Memorial High School on Kings Highway. Parking is available at the Bancroft parking lot, adjacent to the school.
A Luxury Charter Bus will transport us to Middletown, PA. where we attendees board a 1920 vintage coach for a scenic train ride, at 10 a.m. At 11:45, attendees will arrive at Alfred’s Victorian Restaurant, where choices of chicken parmesano, crab cake or canntolloli Bolognese are available.
All dishes are served with salad, coffee, tea, lemonade and dessert, finishing in time to board, the Pride of the Susquehanna, a stern wheel paddle boat, for a river cruise at 2:45 p.m. Following the cruise, attendees will board a bus, for the return home. A full day of activities, for the all inclusive price of $90 per person.
This trip is sponsored by the Haddonfield 65 Club, but open to all area residents. Those interested can make a check out to the 65 Club and send it to 110 Rhoads Ave., Haddonfield. Checks will be deposited after the trip. Please include a phone number on the check. Seating is limited.
