The Haddonfield Adult School is sponsoring a Pop-Up Art Show planned for Friday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday June 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lavish Loft, 105 Kings Highway East. The show will feature the work of Haddonfield Artist Gwynn Walker Di Pilla and her adult students. 20 percent of sales from this show will go to the Haddonfield Memorial High School Beautification Project. There will also be donation jars.

Over the next 24 months, the HMHS Beautification Committee, composed of parents, students, alumni, and community members, is developing and funding a plan to ensure that the physical spaces surrounding the high school will match the beauty of the refurbished building. By improving existing spaces and creating some new park like areas, our vision is to create an aesthetically pleasing campus for students, faculty, and community that encourages reflection, inspires creativity, promotes community and respects the environment.

Originals and prints will be available for sale by Gwynn and some of her students. Thirty-four of Gwynn’s students will have work on display. These students are: Dolores Danks, Bill Lane, Barbara Tarditi, Marjorie Levy, Mary Ann Ebenreiter, Emmy Hunter, Carole McCollister, Sharon O’Brien, Peg Olt, Suzanne Hyndman, Carol Larry, Kathy Silvagni, Gloria Swiecicki, Elsa Perez, Jill Capuzzo, Elizabeth Gleason, Ann Biddle, Katie Faris, Mary Anne Foley, Avery Votta, Rick Shain, Jan Narducci, Joanie Evans, Janet Hart, Phil Hart, Grace Benson, Phylis Tomasello, Karen Bennett, Lori Strasberg, Gail Carbine, Sara Lawall, Arleen Console, Cheryl Console, and Leslie Ries.

Gwynn has been teaching at the Adult School for 24 years and some of her students have been with her for 15 years or more.
