All students at the school are safe, according to district officials.
The following notification was sent out by the Burlington Township School District:
“The Burlington Township Middle School administration was notified that an airsoft gun was seen in the building. The airsoft gun was not displayed or used in a threatening manner. The district is cooperating fully with the Burlington Township Police Department as they investigate this matter. All of our students are safe and we will continue to take safety and security seriously.”
