First Baptist Church of Haddonfield will host the Philadelphia Handbell Ensemble on Saturday, May 12 at 7 p.m. The ensemble will present “War and Peace” designed to speak to the human condition where conflict versus the ever-present hope for peace. Compositions such as “Song of Peace” and “Meditations on the Theme of Peace,” will be presented. The program includes many other similarly themed works, such as “Let It Be,” “Be Thou My Vision,” and “Festival Sanctus.” A time of fellowship and light refreshment will follow.
